Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep Organization
I have been given the honor of having my application accepted to be an affliated photographer for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Organization. This is a wonderful organization that provides no charge remembrance photos to parents whose child is dying or has died. I have pasted below a message from their website that I feel you should read. If you would like more information please check out www.nilmdts.org. I think you will find it a great cause to be a part of. We all take our lives for granted and do not know how lucky we are until we lose a part of it or experience the grief felt by others.
Dear Family, Friends and Web Site Visitors,
We have been given a gift by the parents who invite us to photograph their children. With this project, we are creating some or our most powerful images, and that is because parents allow us to share in their love of their precious gifts. We all come away from this experience profoundly changed . . . Here are parents who know their children have died or are going to die, they have opened their hearts to complete strangers, and they have taken the time to share their child with us, and you, the world. They share with us the joy of being parents, even knowing that joy was so fleeting. We believe this is the purpose of Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation, Remembrance Photography -to touch people's lives and to be touched by them in return. So, to all parents, we thank you with all our hearts for sharing the gift of your precious children and allowing us into your lives and the life of your child.
With Healing, Hope and Honor,
All of us at The Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep Foundation

Class of 2010!!

Ok kids, now don’t throw any sharp objects at me after you read what I am about to say. In 2 MONTHS you will be returning to school…Hey! I said no sharp objects! Anyway, the unmentionable will be happening in a couple of months and you will return to your very hectic schedule with minimal time to yourself. Why not consider getting your senior pictures out of the way now? We have times and packages available to suit your needs. If we don’t, just ask, you never know what we can do unless you ask.
Canvas prints arrived!
Typically we hang framed photos in our studio but I decided to start switching them out to canvas prints and what a great decision! They look great! I am so glad I have samples to show our clients. It gives a wonderful look not only to the portrait but also with the studio. I think these will look great in anyone’s home or office. Makes a picture look like a work of art!
What a great day!

This is a picture of one of my favorite places….Outer Banks, NC. These are the wild horses that you hear so much about. I saw this group every morning when I went out for a walk on the beach and then they came by again in the evening. I have loved this place since I first saw it at the age of 3. Yes, I can still remember that far back….not senile yet.
This was a very busy morning but it sure was fun! Had a couple great seniors from the class of 2010 come in that had us laughing the whole time. That’s what life and this career is all about….having fun! Remember to take time for yourself and enjoy life and what you have.
Hope you are all having a great summer!

Website has a new look!

Wow! Has the year gone by fast for us! Just finished taking photos of 28 students who are being saluted by the PCCYL (Pickaway County Council on Youth Leadership). What a great group of students!
We have updated our website. Hopefully you will find it informative, pleasing to the eye and easy to get around. Let us know what you think!
And, last but not least...this is my first blog posting! What do you think? Should I take more lessons? Ok ok, practice makes perfect.
